The Scarlett Orchidea was born out of love...literally!
After planning my own wedding, it became my desire to become a certified Wedding Planner to help future couples navigate the often stressful and tedious world of wedding planning.
What worked for me then and what I hope to deliver, is an attention to detail, identifying experienced and reliable vendors, strong organisational and coordinating skills, an ability to delegate the workload and above all -a love for bringing people together to unwind and celebrate love in Antigua..
I am an island girl at heart and love welcoming persons to my island to showcase our little bit of Paradise.
Why The Scarlett Orchidea? Well, my grandmother played an instrumental part in my growing up and she was an avid lover of orchids and truly demonstrated the "till death do us part" in her marriage vows.
Orchids are gorgeous, wild, delicate and one of the most desirable; some of the qualities of the beautiful couples that I hope to work with.
Scarlet (Red) Orchids in particular, represent passionate or romantic love. They are a sign of affection and were once used as a main ingredient in love potions! They can also be a sign of bravery and courage! Some of the elements needed along the journey to say, "I DO!"
My ultimate goal is to ensure that you have lots of fun in Antigua, feel relaxed and enjoy your wedding day, knowing that your special day has been well-planned and coordinated.
